Our Story

My name is Mike. I started this business after the death of my father, Howard, a US Army veteran and retired Foreign Service Member. My family and I have lived around the world, residing in various posts, and naturally acquired a vast collection along the way. When my father passed away, I was responsible for finding something to do with all his stuff. He was not a hoarder by any stretch of the imagination, but some would probably say he had a lot of “junk.” I spent weeks sorting through his things: some items memorable, but most of them were just plain “junk.”

As a full-time law enforcement officer, I’ve unfortunately had extensive experience interacting with families of passed loved ones; and many of them had something in common: they had no idea where to start with unloading all the unwanted property. Although this kind of experience is only one aspect of the junk removal world, it’s an important and emotional one. This is why I strongly focus on professionalism and empathy when it comes to other people’s things. I also have serious concerns about environmental issues and prioritize giving eligible items a second life, especially when there are so many families in need here locally. I believe in responsible waste management and trash disposal.
